Dr. Mary Riggin, LAc, Clinic Director,
Executive Director, Acupuncture Physician
Dr. Riggin is national board certified, a Licensed Acupuncturist (FL License AP725), Acupuncture Physician (FL) and Doctor of Acupuncture (RI). She is in private practice in Clearwater, Florida and specializes in allergy treatment, sluggish thyroid and endocrine imbalances, facial sculpting and rejuvenation, and Oriental bodywork.
She is former Vice Chair of the Florida State Board of Acupuncture and was appointed to this gubernatorial position by Governor Lawton Chiles and Governor Jeb Bush. She has been featured on various TV and radio shows and frequently teaches free classes at community and recreation centers throughout Pinellas County.
She is a published author and was featured in the book A Woman's Guide to Vitamins, Minerals and Alternative Healing, writes and publishes educational newsletters and brochures, and was elected to serve two consecutive terms as President of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association.
Professional Licensure, Education and Memberships
Dr. Riggin currently holds professional licenses from Florida as an Acupuncture Physician, and Rhode Island as a Doctor of Acupuncture. She holds a National Board Certification in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the NCCAOM, certification in Facial Rejuvenation with acupuncture and herbs, BRT and NAET.
She is a graduate from the 4 year program at the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as a 2 year private internship with a Master TCM doctor from China. She earned an Undergraduate AAS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from QCC in New York, and holds a professional membership with AAOM. She previously served as President of FSOMA.
